Tissue Paper Carnations

I saw these from this blog and thought they would be an ADORABLE accessory to my wrapped Valentine's gifts! You could also leave a few as decor in a vase or use them to make a fabulous Carnation Garland!
Take a piece of tissue paper and lay it out flat. If you are planning on making lots of flowers, then you might want to layer a few sheets.
Then fold and fold and fold until you get a small square.
I used a 3 inch round glass to trace my circles. Depending on what size you want your flowers, you can change up the size.
Then you cut out your circles. You can paper clip them so they don't slide around while you're cutting.
This is optional but really fun! Use a marker and color the sides! (THis would be sooo cool with white tissue paper and bright colored markers!)
This part is also optional, but I found it helpd ALOT! I used a sharp knife to make 2 holes, but you can just jam the pipe cleaner through.
Now pull the pipe cleaner through one hole and down through the other.
Then twist the piper cleaner so it won't easily come undone. At this point you can cut the pipe cleaner if you choose not to use a stem.
Then take each layer, 1 by 1, fold and crunch upwards!
Until you have the finished product!
Aren't these so fun to use for decorations!?!?!?
